OK, this is awesome!! Clover Creek Aerodrome is hosting the 2019 Clover Creek Senior TOC/ Freestyle Invitational. They have invited 21 former TOC pilots to compete and just glancing at the list of pilots, you can tell this event is going to be EPIC!! We cannot wait for this to happen. Details and more info from CCA below.
"Clover Creek Aerodrome invites you to our 5th prestigious Invitational. This year will indeed be unique and a first of its kind. We will be inviting 21 former Tournament of Champion pilots who qualify of an age 50 plus to compete once again amongst each other as more of a reunion and another opportunity for bragging rights. With these incredible legends we will also be inviting 21 Freestyle pilots to compete in their own separate competition. The best of the best, near and far, filling the entire spectrum of all ages. This has never been done before and will be one of the biggest events ever accomplished in the history of model aviation."
Here's a listing of the Freestyle pilots! This is going to be a show you won't want to miss!!

Great list of names !!!!!!!! I haven't heard a word about Steve Stricker for ever, since I was at the 2002 TOC in Vegas. I hope to see many pictures and hopefully videos of this as there is no way I could ever attend

I’m on a work trip with Mike McConville and we went to pick up his airplane for the event... one of his former TOC airplanes... the first picture is how it looks now when we picked it up and the second photo is of the same airplane nearly 20 years ago at the TOC... it was kept in near immaculate condition!

I remember Mike flying that black Carden 232. That was the first fixed wing I saw someone fly with gyros. Several guys were using the JR gyros at the 1999 TOC.
I have the same plane except the black was replaced with purple. |

No rule at all about using an older airplane but many are embracing the idea... I know Christophe and mike are. Mike obviously also has a sukhoi ready to go as well
