Jr is rock solid and releasing new servos, receivers and transmitters. Just check out the webpage and have a look around. https://www.deeforce.net/

Frank? No responses to this thread?
Is there a new transmitter on the horizon?

Who is using a currently available JR transmitter? Happy with it? I looked on the website and see an 11 channel for over $900 that says coming soon, no info and a 14 channel for $650?
Should I just stick with the 12X DSMX ?

The t44se has coming soon in the picture. It's been available for awhile not sure why it still says that. It's an xg11 with shiny paint and 28x gimbals. I have no complaints with mine. The Facebook page awhile back had teasers of an upcoming tx but not much is known

Any new JR for you will be DMSS and your current receivers are not compatible. Just FYI...however I was a JR user and I sold all my stuff because I was afraid there was not going to be any supply of products and/or parts for repairs. I did not expect Tomahisa to buy it all out and really reinvent JR as well as he has. The JR DMSS is solid and a very good product if you decide to go that way.

I use the T44 SE with the 28X Gimbals and couldn't be more Happier with a more better feel and a nicer flying airplane especially when using XBUS. For me I like the bigger screen than the 14 has and the 14 is a little on the small side for my hands.

The 16BPX HYBRID or the 11BPX receivers are top notch too

Most, if not all, DFA/JR peeps can be located there on FB. However for a faster response to most questions is via a phone call to DFA/JR 217-369-2854 and Chris or Travis will be more than happy to chat with you. OR a call to JTEC

Your 12X is on Spektrum, not DMSS. So, if you want JR, you'll have to switch to DMSS protocol.

Thanks for all the replies. I wish FG had a like post button like some other forums

- I realize the newer JR stuff is DMSS and I'm fine with that, I think I would keep my 12x and just convert one plane to DMSS to start with and go from there.

- Seems like the consensus is the T44 SE is the better choice with the bigger body, screen and gimbals. Programming the same?

- I always liked the simplicity of the JR powersafe receivers and always had great luck with them, looks like the receivers Bill mentioned are somewhat similar and would work great in 35cc and up birds.

- Thanks for the contact info Bill.

- Does anyone know if JR is represented at Fall Nall?

You may be correct, however, I’m 99.99% sure that at one stage, Horizon was updating the 12X to DSMX for a $75.00 charge (I think). I do remember helping a friend to program his 12X (which was DSMX) on an aircraft. At that time, my 12X was still on DSM2 and I never experienced any issues, so I never upgraded.

I forgot about those upgrades... I ended up upgrading a few transmitters, they did it for free for pilots at SEFF.

Did you mean My 12x is DSM2? My 12X is modular and it was converted to DSMX by JR years ago. Haven't ever had a problem, but after being away from the hobby for a few years and finding only Spectrum powersafe receivers available I may make a change.
