Yes, Advanced will be decided at this contest. I might get a chance to fly by then, I hope.

Clark , wise Yoda ... you have progress at a remarkable rate since TAS 2017 and I'm impressed .

I hope you got my TopGun reference .....wish I could be there but the shoulder is requiring frequent rest so it doesn't tighten up or I would be there competing .

I believe the wings were completed by Micheal V . I think Gale was waiting for that 215 for the fuselage ....Sounds like resources were diverted to that Italy trip so the plane seems to be on hold ....hum.

Russ, I’m with Clark! I can barely get through an Advanced Unknown. There is much to learn before I move up to Unlimited. It looks like it’s going to be cold and damp this weekend so I should feel right at home 😜. There is a fair bit of snow forecast for Calgary this weekend so I guess I shouldn’t complain!

Okay okay then I guess you should stay in Advance . Looks like your getting out just in time before the first snow , yes I did say snow the first of the autumn . I see 16c on Sat and 14c on Sunday both with possible showers . Happy flying Gordon , you are leaving Thursday I'm guessing . Make sure your furnace is working in the motor home, it's going to get chill at night .

Thanks Russell. Ya, I’m making sure that we have plenty of propane for the weekend. Might throw a toque into the motorhome as well!

Hi all

Is anyone from the Portland/Vancouver (or passing through Portland) area going to the regional finals?

I have a Carden Kit that needs to make its way to Clark.

Please PM or call

50cc Extra 260 for sale soon

In case there's any interest, this off season I plan to sell the purple and white Aeroworks Extra 260 that I've been flying in IMAC for the last 3 years. It has a freshly overhauled (by Valley View) DLE55 with a canister and Hitec servos.

I'll be flying it this weekend, after that I'll be working on the 120cc project I picked up earlier this year.

Bummed out!

The RV is packed and the planes are in the trailer. I thought I would check the weather forecasts one more time last night and ARRGH! There is a major winter storm forming. The drive down to Richland would be fine (wet), the forecast for the contest sucks but the problem is the more than 3 feet of snow expected in the mountains by Monday morning! Mountain roads in blizzard conditions with 3 feet of snow - sorry I’m out!
I hope the weather holds for you guys - have fun.
