Had a great time with Mike, Joel and Jesse (our new club members) at the Marion Airfoils today!
Got to put a couple of flights on the 104" Slick!

No Problem Don! Marion Airfoils is a small club but for some reason our Tuesday night fly's are always well attended. In fact if just 4 more guys would of showed you could of met the entire club!

jamier, The Marion Airfoils field is a few miles west of Marion on Herr road. Herr road runs north & south between Rt. 95 and Rt.309. The Tuesday night fly is currently a members only club event. I was able to take Don G. as my guest. In 2 weeks we have our monthly meeting. I am going to ask club officials if they would want to make the Tuesday night fly a "open" event to where any AMA member can attend. I will report back on this.

I just received my crack yak lite and started the build when I noticed that the rudder does not have the slot cut out for the control horn. Could someone that has this plane please measure the location and advise. Twisted Hobbys is closed until Monday and I am trying to get this built before the clubs indoor flying on Sunday. Thanks in advance.

Rich B, I have the same plane but in "superlight" measurement could be different. You could continue on with your build. Very late in the instructions you will be asked to add servo carbon fiber push rods and the small wood rod supports. The slot for control horn cut in your rudder will be in a straight line with the small wood rod supports that run down the fuselage. On my "superlight" instructions there is a good photograph rod alignment and control horn. If your instructions show a similar photo it will be helpful.
