Stephens Akro Documentation
Does anyone know who might hold the design rights and drawings for the old Stephens Akro? I contacted York Aircraft hoping Devin would know, but he had no idea. Figured he'd be my guy considering York Aircraft sells plans for many Laser variations. Is it possible that the original drawings for an aircraft of such historical significance have faded to non existence?

I don't know if this will help but I seen this one in the Boeing Museum in Seattle ( http://www.museumofflight.org/aircraft/stephens-akro )

I gotta go someday soon! I've always admired the Akro design.

Decided we need a few representative photos.

Back in the early 80's I got to fly "The Dude" Stephes Acro. A couple of friend's repaired it after he had lost the canopy in flight. It was weird as it had a tooled leather interior like a saddle. Was owned by a gut in Northern Idaho. There was a magizine article on it in the late 70s early 80s. As I remember it really flew nice.
