Motor decisions

Ok guys/gals, a local bunch of guys are looking for inexpensive brushless motors for 3d foamies weighing between 5 to 8 ounces. What are your suggestions? I personally run the AXI 2203-46 (LOVE IT!) and soon to try a Hacker A10-9L, but we need a descent motor that would work without the $40 on up type. The 1700kv Hextronics motor works, but it is imported and we would like for our local hobby store to be able to obtain these inexpensive motors. I know the saying "you get what you pay for" and it is true, but any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank You!

The motorfly's look good, but the weight is a little concern. Tried the BP 1400kv motor and was not too impressed with it, but it is a very good price.

I know I usually buy the good stuff cause I fly all the time. but the guys at my club use those motors and have no problems but they dont fly everyday either. I have found the cheapies dont last too long for me and are less effecient. like you said earlier you get what you pay for.

Yeah we have some cheap people in our club, but what do you do right? We are trying to get the the guys that are flying indoors to convert over to smaller 3mm Depron planes for indoors and making a rtf package kit for them that will convince them to get rid of their big 6mm on up planes for outdoors use.

I know what you mean those 38" foamies really hog the gym. I have the same problem with vapors they hog all the airspace and you feel bad when you slice one in half.

LOL! That's funny, a Vapor hogging the air. Realistically they do fly all over the place and to slice one in half would truly suck for them.

I sliced one in half two weeks ago. there is usually at least 3 in the air at all times and if they get too close the prop sucks them right in. you feel bad the first time.
