I have all the hours needed for my PPL, just need to take the tests. I'm working on my A&P (Airframe & Power-plant) right now, and find it hard to finish my PPL at the same time. As soon as I'm done with my A&P I plan on getting my PPL finished up.

Man, that sucks. I used to be a member at a gym down in Miami back in the mid 80's... they had a "special" running, pay a one-time $895 fee and you had a "lifetime" membership.... guaranteed no fees for the rest of your life. I, along with several others, took the bait. Less than 30 days later, the doors were chained shut by the bank. Live and learn. Compared to your experience, mine was cheap, but almost 30 years later, I still remember it.... never make that mistake again.

Its now time to do it officially. going to pick up the bird next week.

I've got about 2000 hours (at 500 MPH, that's 1 million miles) in just about everything Delta flies... but it's all been in the passenger compartment. Always wanted to get my PPL, but I never really had the money when I had the time. Now that I have the money, I can't imagine what I'd do with the license. Guess I'll just stay with the toys.

600+ hrs in my families Cessna 180 is still the best and funniest of all!!

It has taken alot of sacrifice, and hard work, but like Wanye, I'm very fortunate and blessed to be in my position at the age of 42..

Shaker,
7 Stops to Hong Kong. VHHH being our final destination. My company is trying to begin a Fractional Program here in China as they are in the infancy stages of Mass Private Air Travel.
Now I know how Wayne and Dan feel flying 16 Hours a year. I like it. Lots of time to think about flying model airplanes and visit model factories.

I never thought I would have this opportunity flying a Piaggio, but here I am.

Wayne is still my Hero.
