Ok here is a shot of the fix Chris and I did.
If you look at the fuse you can see where the stab root is molded into the fuse. The front of the stab was around 1.5mm too low. As we used the incidence meter to zero out the stab we noticed that the zeroed out stab matched the root molded into the fuse perfectly. So the factory simply miss drilled the fuse.

We bored out the anti-rotation pin hole a little and the screw holes that hold the stab to the fuse pushed it up into position and tightened the screws locking the stabs into "zero". Later this week, I'll make some plywood donuts and glue them into the fuse making the anti rotation pins lock the stab at "zero".

Once we did that, I put the airplane into space, and put it in a serious down line. The airplane did not tuck or pull. WINNER!!!

This is the stuff I like doing. Lots of people don't like to, but I find it to be fun. Most would rather mix the down lines to 0 on no throttle. In my opinion, it's kinda like cheating. It is easier to mix it, versus actually finding the root problem.

Reza, once I flew Sleepy's, I put it in a down line and it pulled out without having to use elevator, I knew we had a stab incidence issue. He installed a washer behind the engine, to give it a touch of UP thrust prior to flying. That was very close on up/down thrust. We actually added another .025" to it Saturday, and helped more.

In reality, it took us 30 minutes or less to make the changes. It took us longer to get the airplane leveled out and stab incidence checked.

He needs to put some balls back in that fleshly piece of skin located under his pecker!! *BFG*

Even I had a little problem with his airplane on the last flight of the day, with the cross wind and all. 6 approaches, I think it was........... But my MX2, I was on the ground in 1........ Difference in airplane comfort levels. You bet!!!! 17 flights versus 2.

Seriously, Vic. You would like this airplane!!!!
