Re: Our future....????
Isn't it incredible that given such a staked deck of cards, the race has stayed this close...
I half way think that they (dem) went out and found the longest bet they could find (obama) just to show that they could still win??? Hard to believe that out of 100's of millions of people these 2 are the best candidates that we could find to run for office & it's downhill after that (except for Palin!)... (so much for the 'creme of the crop') |

Re: Our future....????
I have yet to have an intelligent conversation with an Obama supporter...Its the same crap...Why are you voting for Obama...well...its because he is not Bush...Yeah..but McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time. Look..if you going to debate me on politics...learn the three branches of Government. Bush is in the Executive branch and does not have a vote in congress. Obama and Dems say this because most Democrats are too stupid to know the difference. They all talk the party line and say the same things over and over again. McCain is so far from Bush. Palin is so far from Cheney. I personally wish that Palin was the front runner for the Republicans be she is not. I agree...McCain is not my first choice for President...but he is far less scary than Obama. Obama stands for everything this country is not. I have still yet to hear what Obama is going to do to fix our economic problems other than raise taxes. We need a true patriot in the White House. McCain may not be the best choice...but for the options we have...he is the only choice.
The polls are so sided with the...I can make the polls run anyway I want. I can ask a question a certain way to get the answers I want...and choose a select demographic to best side the polls the way I want them. After John Kerry and his huge exit polls lead...we saw where that got him. When you go in that voting booth...and you see the name Barak Obama on the ballot...Can you really bring yourself to vote for him. I think a lot of Americans will go in there intending to vote for Obama...and realize..he is the wrong choice. But..I guess we will find out how stupid government educated people are. If they do not know what the branches of Government are and their responsibilities then they probably are not smart enough to make the right choice at the voting booth. |

Re: Our future....????
if such a big deal is going to be made about troopergate....shouldn't we make the relationship between obama and the domestic terrorist an issue of national security? if that was mccain the libs would be raising holy hell! that is the truth and everybody that wants to argue it is full of sh*t!!!!!!!!
i am absolutely sick of the name calling and the belittling of palin by the liberals. they do that and then out of the other side of their asses they complain that mccain is running a slanderous campaign! find some consistancy please! the liberals don't have and argument other than...no more bush! they certainly can't believe that obama will be a better commander in chief than mccain. they certainly can't believe they'll still have jobs to go to if obama taxes the heck out of their employers. they certainly don't think that socialism is the way to prosper.... or do they all believe these things? if that is the case....god help us all! |

Re: Our future....????
Well, its too windy to get out and fly today, so I'll stay here and blow some hot air around this thread......
The financial crisis is what it is, and no matter which candidate wins the election, it should be the the primary focus of our next President. I'm confident (like any good card-carrying Republican) that the situation will right itself quickly. It will take years for full recovery, but we have to find bottom and bounce. What scares me is what we don't know. Who will Obama owe for putting him in the White House? He chose to ignore public funding of his campaign, something that no candadate has ever done since the funds were created. Let's face it... this gig pays $400K. Each party will spend in excess of $100M to get their party in the Oval Office. Turning down public funding speaks to the power behind his campaign.... and let's face it, that kind of power is not derived from disenfranchised lower middle class voters... they might punch his name in a ballot, but they would never contribute to the campaign with the volume of cash required to win.... who did? The DNC did not embrace Obama until it was apparent that he had the momentun, What we have to fear is the base that gave him that momentum. They didn't do it for free, and they aren't going to wait long to be paid for thier efforts. |

Re: Our future....????
Mike,
They will expect more low cost loans to bankrupt the economy. Im sure money is funneled in from Ayers, Soros and other questionable associations he has made. I bet if they look at the people who have donated to him..they are probably deceased. ACORN is a prime contributor...lets see...if we can get all these dead people to donate the maximum...then Soros and Ayers wont have to list their true contributions. I got it the new slogan for Barak... OBITURARIES for OBAMA.. |

Re: Our future....????
Yeah man, I could git real warm and fuzzy about a canidate who's campaign has been funded "buy" millions of internet donations shy of the $200.01 maximum limit before contributor disclosure. I'd be even warmer still knowing the canidate campaign holds the record for most dollars ever collected. YEAH!! GO-GO our guy!!
Here is where I just know I'd personally have to uncross my legs fo' sum relief cause it's gittin' sooo warmey-hot: With more investigations it has been discovered contributors have similar names like: hghghghjkso and an address of: 464979 jrriusndhdh Freakin' unbelievable friends. All this front page jucey as hell "discovery" provided not by the liberal media of course- coz they likes their cozy bed warmer. Obama supporters- how do you reconcile all this potential radical foreign government interest $$$ and support for yo' bro? They will be expectin' their PAY-BACK! Are you just looking the other way and she-zam- it goes away or is it truly a rational thought process? Truly an incredible process whatever it is. Please share now, cause you just may convert this nose pinch'in Republican |

Re: Our future....????
ACORN is just the tip of it. The money behind this campaign comes from the kind of folks that don't take no for an answer. They work through fronts like ACORN, but they don't give a rat's ass about intimidating banks. These are the kind of guys that put Vince Foster where he is today (dead) for not supporting their cause. They owned the White House 8 years ago, and they're buying it back again.
