This is an election year with nominations being held this month and voting next month. Make sure and go to the website and vote. As for now Gale it nominated for Regional Director. Judging school will be scheduled in the spring. Go build something during the winter months and I look forward to seeing you all soon!

This 2020 has just been brutal for IMAC in our NW region.
On top of Covid, we have seen pretty much everything one could imagine to spoil our season.
Our last Canadian contest looks like a go, however..... Work is now getting in the way for me..

My airplane says “No Way” she wants to fly at least one more time this season. I believe we should still get together one more time before the winter sets in. Just to fly, no contest, a picnic if you will. The fires won’t last forever and we will be able to fly again. Let’s plan on flying at Higgins field one weekend in the near future!

I wouldnt want us to endanger the club in any way, but I would love to fly again this year

If you all wanna fly and there is no event at Weaver's field, he welcomes you to come and fly. Just check weaversairfield.com It looks like all of October is open except for Oct 23-25 which is his end of season fly in. This is not a contest, just a get together for everyone who wants to fly.

I need to see if I can get my airplane through a weekend without something going wrong.

Yeah, I’m thinking that it would be great where ever we go. Weaver’s Field would be good also. Maybe the first weekend of October ? Let’s keep an eye on WX and make a decision at least a week before. I (and my airplane) just haven’t seen all of my extended family enough this season!
