Help!
New to the Hobby P-47D Build

Hello,

I am very new to the RC hobby. Currently working on my first build. Its a Top-Flite P47-D .60 scale. Looking for some guidance. I have just completed the structure of the wing panels. Have not added the skins yet. Unfortunately I have ended up with a slight twist, approx. 3/16' of a lift from rib tab 1 thru 11. Any suggestions on how to correct?

I apprecaite the Help

Andrew

More experienced builders will probably give you better ideas, when you apply the coverage (what film will you intend to use?) you can use the hot iron and the covering to straighten the wig but I think 3/16 is a bit too much for this.
Another way (YMMV) is to wet the wood a little, straighten the warp and leave it with clamps on until t dries.
Regards,
Patrick

Patrick,

Thanks for the advice. I am not too the point of covering the wing yet. I haven't applied the outer skins as of yet. I may try the wetting and clamping idea.

Appreciate the help
