I only have one airplane that is a bear to fly inverted harriers with and that's just because it really wants to pull to the starboard side of the airplane, sometimes there's just not enough rudder to coax it out of. But otherwise my other airplane will sit in an inverted harrier all day long.

The simulators are going to be of absolutely no help to you, I have only flown one airplane that didn't want to snap out of an inverted harrier with them and that airplane was heavily heavily modified. Just go out and ly your airplanes, you will be amazed at how easy it actually is.

Not entirely on topic, but theres another thing to keep in mind about inverted harriers that I think is worth mentioning. Many plane/engine combinations show no difference between an inverted harrier and an upright one, but many do. So, pay attention to how your engine sounds the first few times you do it.

The funny thing is that the difficulty with the sim literally kept me from trying it in real life. The feedback and help from this forum gave me the push, no pun intended, to give it a go. So far so good. Thanks interweb people

It just seems awkward to push down on the stick to keep the plane flying.

Just remember, down is up, and up is expensive.
