Hi Royster,
Notice you haven't used any hinge tape.
I'm almost finished my Yak and looking at the rudder hinge, I'm tempted to use some tape and seal the gap.
Any thoughts on the matter?

True. The end of the day it wasnt my plane, but had it been I would have checked to see how large the gaps were and added Blenderm to em if needed. As for the rudder I sometimes do them on electrics and it depends on the plane and what kind of flying but I know fellow flyers who seal all surfaces. Do it man, it wont hurt.

Guys, I just bought one of those great Extra's.. but i'm little confused regarding wheels and "slippers" , I can't hide a nut..
Can you make a photo how it fit's for on your plane? that will help a lot
