I believe it was the Japanese who coined the phrase business is war.
Whoever it was, this belief is beyond any American philosophy. Consequently, we have been in a business war for 50 years without being completely aware of it... we're a bunch of dumb*****.

Well, we were not locked but it is frustrating having a very popular discussion being made invisible. No views/no replies/no pages!?
.... maybe we have a communist moderator.

Just got notice today that one of my favorite RC suppliers VVRC will be raising prices due to the new 25% tariff on all Chinese products.

Trade wars aren't a good thing, they've never worked, they won't bring jobs back to a western nation unless people are prepared to work for 3rd world wages.
That being said, from an outsiders (Aussie) point of view, the U.S. r/c industry has a great reputation in my neck of the woods, and with a little bit of innovation and co-operation there could be a great future.
Just one idea, if I was a U.S. based kit manufacturer, I'd be looking for reputable kit cutters in the likes of the UK, Aus and NZ, provide them with plans and cad files, and take a licence fee per kit.
