Sorry, no experience with use inside canisters or tuned pipes. Rooman's right about caustic products, which this probably is.

Is it ok to use 2 carb gaskets? My new walbro carb from VVRC came with a round gasket, but the old existing one has a square gasket. It’s the exact same carb. for DLE-35RA. Thanks for your help

Oh man. That's interesting. If this engine has seen a lot of run time, I'd toss the old gasket and use the new round one as long as it mates up to the carb. I do not see the benefit of using both gaskets in this application. If its installed on an existing airframe, and you use two gaskets, your throttle linkage distance is subject to change as well. Just my opinion.

All the later DLE engines use the square gasket. It seals in all the areas it needs to seal. I wouldn’t use two gaskets. By the way, the carb is square, not round so no big deal about the shape.

Thanks guys, I took off the round gasket and just used the square one, the only reason I wanted to use the round one is because it seems like it made a better seal around the round hole in the carb. When I initially took it apart, it seem like there was a lot of gas soaking the gaskets and seeping out just a tiny little bit, and I really don’t want to get into using sealer on the gaskets but I want to make sure I have a good seal so I am trying a thin layer of oil this time

The DA ignition uses an inductive sensor where the DLE ignition uses a Hall sensor. They will not interchange.

Now if you have the DA sensor for that ignition and if you can get the timing correct with the mounting holes in the DLE,your good. You could use a hose clamp and mount the sensor where you need it.At lease this way you will eliminate the ignition as the trouble.
