WOW!!

What is the whineing sound his plane makes when he is diving down at the speed of heat with the throttle WFO???

Wierd to watch 3D at full throttle.. (From a GS 3D point of view)... really illustrates how little power they have compared to RC!

In the full scale world they call it a spiraling tower, not a pop top.

The whineing sound is the flying wires singing.

What do you think the CHTs are by the end of that routine? He never gives it a break.

I would love to see that performance at an airshow. One of the best demo flights I have seen, those tumbles make my stomach churn!

Also might be a little bit of the prop tips exceeding the speed of sound.

Zwirbelturm...means "spiraling tower in Swiss. Invented by many-time Swiss and European Champion Eric Muller in 1974. Starts with a vertical roll (to the right with Lycoming powered engines), then a series of negative ascending spins (flattened outside snaps), until at the highest point when all acceleration is lost the plane hangs for a bit in a horizontal pirouette before descending in an upright flat spin.

Sean's was nicely done at the top, but I seen them done with a bit more altitude that then lets the pilot push the descending upright flat spin into an abrupt inverted flat, which really ends the maneuver with a flair!!

Yes, that's because full scale guys are intelligent and don't want the names of their maneuvers to sound like some ad-lib a three year old made up while rolling around in dog poo.

LOL! Just last weekend I was hanging around the local airport with a group of guys. One was getting ready to make a practice run of his airshow demo and said after so and so maneuver, he was going to try the "indo flip". I asked him what an indo flip was, if it was a waterfall. He said "W.T.F's a waterfall?". Turns out, it is the same as a negative push waterfall. lol They also refered to a positive waterfall as a micro loop.
