I like the 4S Evo 2500. Bit more weight for spins/blenders. That rotational mass thingy.

Hey guys, is the E-Flite 15BL 950kv Outrunner is a good match for the Andrew Jesky Fliton Extra 330. I just ordered one of these planes and was wondering if this was a good combo. Thanks in advance.

It'll work, even though the park 25 might be a better match, especially if you're going to go 4S (which I highly recommend).

Love this plane. Don't love the electrifly 45 amp ESC/BEC in it. Norman and I have both hit-the-deck with no control issues because of the controllers. Bummer.

Maiden went super, right-up until I hammered it. Then nothing. Eerie, Just silence and an airplane falling out of the sky, no surfaces or motor control.

OK guys I have started to build my AJ. I flew one last week and loved the way it flew. The only thing I didn't like was that the one I tried was a little under powered. He was not using any of the Hacker recomended setups. I have 4 20C/30C 4 cell 2200 lipos, so this is what I want to use for batteries. Which of the Hacker setups will give me the best compromise between run time a power. I want to run a seperate BEC has anyone run the recomended Hacker ESC with this setup or should I get a different ESC?

Nick, I hear you rock with your AJ. We got to get together and fly soon now that you are in AZ. You going to Bakersfield or Vegas IMAC?

I broke down and went to my LHS to get myself an AJ yesterday because today was going to be a good day for flying. lol . What should I do then with the AJX that I'm getting from Edson. Before the end of the week next week, I might have 3 AJX's, lol.

Btw, I went all night to get it goin, and it's done already, complete with the mods I've done before. Granted I didn't have to do the wings yet, but that's usually the easy stuff.

Steve, I think I answered your question in the RCG thread, but basically I'm happy with my 10XL on 4S. Having said that though, the ones who has 12LX is happier with their 14x7 prop vs the 13 x 6.5 that I have to use on mine.

Well...just got back from 4 hours of hardcore flying, and I've now had the chance to duly wring-out the AJ, and all I can say is WOW! This little bird is the best flying I've had in years. Didn't hold back...full throttle blenders and walls...pounded it with full-throttle maneuvers (running 12XL and 4S 2500 FP Evos).

The poor airframe was groaning every step, but it didn't break. I'm impressed.

Fliton and Andy have a keeper, with this itty-bitty-birdy, so I've already ordered another one, because this plane makes you do stupid stuff...

Nice video and nice flying Josh, looks like you're really getting your AJ dialed in.

I got my AJ extra from Andrew him self he set my radio up and it flew great for that size plane but I would go with the 4s packs though! I have 3s in mine and flys for 6-7min good up line pull but not insaine like the 4s pack.
