Fox Gas can topper

OK guys a while back, Charlie from Fox and myself were on the way to a event and had to buy a 5 gal. fuel can which sparked up the discussion one how just about every gas can you go buy now has that crappy valve on it that prevents us from easily making a fuel can for our hobby. It was then we thought why don't we just scale up the soda bottle topper to fit a gas can. Well ladies and gentlemen I have to admit. This thing ROCKS!! The fuel can topper is designed to work with the BLITZ fuel can which can be purchased at Wal-Mart and just about any hardware store or gas station. The kit includes all the hardware needed to set up your new fuel jug (which excludes the jug and fuel tubing shown in the pictures) and is very easy to put together, which includes a filter if you choose not to use the clunk, tubing adapter for smaller fuel tubing, and rubber o-ring to ensure a nice tight and leak proof fit. As most of you know that have purchased the soda bottle topper or Gatorade topper, the quality of Fox's hardware is top notch and is made with only the highest quality metals.
The fuel can topper can be purchased at this moment by calling the Fox Manufacturing plant at (479)646-1656, Tol free at (877) 369-3883, or at any event Fox is at. The Price of the topper is set at $34.99 which in my opinion is spot on considering it is around the same price for a soda bottle top at competing companies.

With this topper, How do you vent air into the can ? loosen the cap?
The new style gas cans do not have a air vent that is seperate from the large cap, they are vented through the fill spout.
Just wonderin'

when you pull the fuel line out to fuel your airplane the copper tube slides leaving a hole for venting

Josh
Where did you get the little green tag that says the gas/oil ratio. That would be handy.
Thanks
Troy

Re: Fox Gas can topper

Most of the guys have there own fuel pumps. this does not include a pump. charlie was selling some good gas pumps for a while I can call him and see if he has some instock if you like. the big thing with this is you cant really make a good fuel can with the new safety valve that just about every jug you find now has. This cap it replaces the lid it comes with.

That Cap looks great.

Josh,

Do you think there is any way we could talk Charlie into making some of these that fits the Midwest can. I've been building fuelers with Midwest Can because it's got a wider base which makes it more stable when hauling.

Will this be air tight when the fill line is replaced for storage?
