FW-190 from Top Flite!

Slowing getting my new warbird ready. It's tough only getting to work on it while I'm home but I plan on making more progress this weekend. Here's a few pics so far.

And what would be under the cowling that would make the Zero
"Blast past" so fast? My FW 190 is stuffed with a 3 dub 60 and will
be quite a blast itself!

WangoTango,

There's a fly in in at the WARPS club in Morgan City May 31st. If you get a chance you should bring your 3d plane and Fw190. Myself and Cherrybomb will be there, would be a great time to flog some planes and put the warbirds through there paces. I just have a tired old g-62 mag ign. in the Zero but she hauls the mail pretty good.

Dmann,
Thanks for the invite! Have to see what's going on then. We are in the process
of selling off estate of Mom & Dad. Would like to make it but there's 62 years
of stuff in that place and it's nowhere near empty! We'll see.

Hi all
I've got a top-flight 1/5 scale mustang.... gonna slap a DA85 into it. Just need electric retracts but have no loot for it this year. Was gonna put it into the 1/5 scale FW-190. Also have a DLE-55. Any advice which plane should get the DA85? I'm partial to the P51 (seems more docile than the FW-190).

Im almost completely finished with the 190 and from the looks of the cowl, the 85 would probably fit but you may have trouble putting the cowl screws in. I had trouble even with the 55.

How is everyone coming along with the 190? Any issues with electric retracts?

They are working good so far. I do have one issue with a gear leg but it came about due to crappy field conditions.
