Not all of the new Edge 540 III will look like that. (IMHO It looks BITCHIN!) That's Hannes Arch's new Red Bull race plane. From what I have been hearing there will be one even more wild looking than that show up at the second round of the series unless they run more snags.

I just weighed the Version II Edge as it comes out of the box, Including the fuse, Carbon wing tube, Carbon Tail tube,both wings, both eleavators and stabs, canopy, carbon gear and cowling.......
She weighed a total of 29 Lbs!!!!

Mike that's very impressive for a plane this size.Do you know what the out of the box weight was on the first Edge?
With a out of the box weight of 29lbs this plane should fly pretty good with a engine smaller than the 275.

The first version Edge was the same....I had to use aluminum standoff's on mine. Looks like your almost ready to fly!
