BJ Craft Passion build

Hey guys. I received my new yellow passion today in the mail. F3AUnlimited got it to me in perfect condition and everything looks great.

Will share more pics as the build progresses.
Unfortunately, the motor that I have is probably not going to work so I will be reevaluating that. Servos will be here Friday and I can start building over the weekend 😛

I ran mine with a Neu and HV80. Flew great, tons of power, even on a falcon 19x13.5 3blade. I see there is an updated, ligther Neu available..

Jeti Mezon 90 and most likely F3AUnlimited Packs. Hacker also has a very light weight Lipo that I've heard good things about.

I originally bought a Q80 but I don't like the way it fits in this plane so I decided to switch to the C50. It's about 100g lighter also.

I'm really impressed with the kit thus far. The covering is beautiful and the glass work is feather light. This is my first regulation F3A plane so I'm kinda drooling over the quality.

Edit: target time I think is 7minutes. Not really sure what to expect but that seems to be the norm. I think the biggest influence on that will be the capacity that I choose. Ideally 4500mah for weight but if I can make weight with 5200mah then I will do that.

4500's seem to be enough for 7 minute flights for me. In fact it only reduces my packs down to just below storage charge.

I used the 5400 from F3A and they are the lightest pack I have and deliver a good punch.....more then 7 mins.....

I also have some zippy they don't last long....and are heavier

Started on the bottom wing tonight. Hinged the ailerons and sealed all the covering.

Only notable issue is the one alignment pin is pushed into the wing and seems to be glued solid. I'll have to find a way to correct that. Not a big problem though.
