You weren't the first, I was. Then I got personally attacked for it. Frankly I couldn't care less if someone wants to flush their hard earned $ down a crooks toilet. But in this thread you (or at least I) can't even honestly answer a question without being attacked.

And people think DA fan boys can be vicious.

This motor is already available in Germany and I was also interested in it... until I spoke with pilots who already have it. They were complaining about a lack of power

Some people pay attention to what you say, and benefit from it.

It is not like Jody has anything to gain here. His posts in this thread were only offered to save people some grief. I have worked on DLA engines myself and owned one. Never again.

It's not the content of his post. It's how he goes about it. Yes he knows a lot about gas engines, but that doesn't mean everyone else should be called an idiot and all the other crap he says. I admire and trust someone that can give me information and help out a fellow modeler without bragging about how smart they are and how stupid the rest of us are. Anyway, I find it amusing that he feels "personally attacked". Hardly the case. I you can't handle a little criticism then maybe you shouldn't be dishing it out. Since I have already sent this thread off topic I will let I go. Happy flying!

Yes. Employers will be Employers. I wondered how this new legislation will affect insurance and protocol.

I know it isnt a 128, but a friend of mine has the DLA 116. It is no more than 3 gallons old, and the lower rod bearings are talking to him. He says never again on China engines. He said that he could have bought 2 new engines (3W or DA) for all of the Chinese garbage he owned.

Advice..... if you want an engine to fly your airplane, on occasion and with a budget, buy china engines. If you want to go out every weekend and fly 15 flights. Save your $$$, and buy a 3W, DA, MVVS. You'll be glad in the end that you did.
