Toledo is all what you make it. If you are going for 100's of top vendors in our hobby to be there with 50% off prices you may want to just stay home. Most people go to see a few new things of interest to them but mostly hang out with friends and catch up on old times. Plenty of good food places within walking distance to check out as well. There will be some good deals to be had i'm sure, I always walk away with something cool in my eyes. I will be paying very close attention to AJ Aircraft and Extreme Flight myself, I miss Aeroworks not being there. Looking forward to the whole Toledo experience.

This is an awesome opportunity to do most of your shopping in one place. I only wish it could be much earlier in the year when we have more time to work on our projects.
New vendors usually come and test the waters but are few and far between now. I remember when Falcon first showed up, they were practically giving their props away. They didn't have any distributors established. Some new vendors make it some don't. To bad this hobby isn't any more popular than it was when toledo was just a swap shop. My grand kids have too much to keep there interest out of the hobby than it did when I was growing up. TBT I remember the sport area as well. I think it was 75 or 76. I was still in highschool and camped out in my 69' Econoline. It was cold that year! |
