I'm also looking for information about the decals that come with the red version. Can someone post a picture of the decal sheet? If not, at least a description of what decals come with the plane and what is already on the plane.

Thanks in advance.

Just ordered the red one with the DA70 and MKS 777A+’s!

I did call and ask about the decals but she wasn’t sure, said it comes with a decal sheet so I’m thinking they come with it but not installed?

Decals are not installed on any other EF planes, I would think this also comes on a sheet for you to use at your own discretion.

I suspect the lines are part of the covering and you add the star decals at the end of the line. I also suspect the ExtremeFlight on the wings is a decal. Not sure about the X in the middle of the fuselage.

I'll know for sure on Friday when I pick it up.

Just got mine today. The big fuselage X is a decal as well. Really nice looking kit.

Thank you. That will make the Leo Bud Light scheme even better. And the stars are already on......oh life is so good.

Landing Gear

I always have a tough time getting a washer and nylock down in the fuse for the landing gear bolts. It's likely that I'm overlooking an easier way to do this, and if so, please let me know. Here is what I tried for the first time tonight and it worked pretty good.

1) glue a washer to each nylock with a small drop of CA
2) use a small drip of Goop in your socket wrench to lightly hold the nylock so it doesn't fall into the bottom of the fuse.
3) twist and shout!

Vent Line

Plumbed my vent line around the inside of the fuse with wire holders then mounted a drip line through the landing gear so that gas doesn't drip down the covering.

A couple of hours tonight starting the build and all hinges and control horns epoxied in. Love the self mixing tubes - saves a significant amount of time. Motor also mounted. Hopefully can add the landing gear, servos, electronics tomorrow. Nice touch having the elevator and aileron control rods prebuilt. Nice sized rudder - pic is next to 83 MXS for reference.

Looks like the firewall is beefed up with the mitered tri-stock on the front. Very nice.

Nice Rob! I couldn't believe how big the rudder is. This airframe has to be the largest in this class. I also love all of the carbon fiber goodness in the rudder and horizontal stabs.

Yeah it was painful to do mine too. But not too bad what I did is stuffed the socket with paper towel and put the nyloc inside it so it doesn't drop all the inside the socket and had the airplane upside down
