Hay everyone, dont forget if your looking for a great gift for your flying friends, there is no better gift then one that may spare them an injury. The RCS makes a great Christmas gift.

Getting that time of year again and I send you all an early wish for a very merry Christmas!

May God bless you all!

I've been using the RCS that Alvie gave me during the Black Hills Air Rally last August. Easy to get used to using it.

And easy to stop worrying about loosing your fingers...

RCS

I just purchased two of these things and I can tell all of you to spread the word, they are well constructed and work very good. No more worrying about back fires and getting your fingers or hand in the way. I just wish this product had been available much earlier. The protected roller doesn't hurt your expensive props. I use carbon fiber props and it leaves no marks what so ever. Great product.

Been a busy and have missed a lot of posts, but I am sure hand strikes are way down, don't have any way to prove this with stats, but RCS is every where and this product is saving many hands and injuries , good job Rich

Thank you Hank and Frank for your posts.
From the number of RCS's shipped there are a lot less hand strikes in our hobby, I am sure of that.

Thanks again everyone and Merry Christmas!
God bless you all!

At A$66.38 it's still good value!
I need my fingers for modelling.
Cheers

I tried a couple times and never did like it but I am sure I am not getting the hang of it. Since so many people indicate that they work great for them, I do plan to see what I am doing wrong and give it some more time.

I know there are some of them at one of the clubs I attend, yet I don't see folks use them much at all. I do think quite a few folks bought them and maybe they are starting to use them. No doubt, if you can get used to it, it should protect your hands from kick backs and such and that is important.

I was at a Fly-In two weeks ago and watched a guy use the grip end of a golf club. I handed him a RCS, and he said he was going to order one when he got home. Mine are working very well, used the hell out of them. Best darn Christmas Stocking Stuffer out there this year!!!!

You can sort of liken the RCS to other products that are made for safety where there is potential for injury... Will the RCS keep you from a possibly serious injury?...the answer is obviously Yes. The product is available but if someones preference is to accept that risk then that's their choice. Many people choose to ride their motor cycles without a helmet...many people choose to drive their car without using the seat belt etc. It is obvious with the 30+ pages of positive comments that the RCS is a very good safety product but unlike the other products mentioned, there is no law requiring anyone to use one. I have never implied that people MUST use the RCS....I just make it available to those that wish to use it. If you are among the 350 members of the club in which everyone starts their engines with their bare hands then so be it. I sincerely pray that you go your entire RC life without any injury. For those that wish to protect their hands against the chance of a serious injury, here it is.

Take care everyone, be safe and Merry Christmas.
Richard

Happy Thanksgiving Richard! I have been using mine for a long time now and don't even think of hand propping anymore. I even use it when starting other peoples planes for them.
