Help!
IMAC is looking for help on Sequence and Rules Committees
(originally written by Brad Davy; RD of the North East Region)
The BOD is looking for some volunteers to serve on the International Sequence Committee and the IMAC Rules Committee. The Sequence Committee is probably one of the most active and hardworking committees, generating unknown sequences nearly every weekend of the year. Candidates will need the Microsoft Visio Software, which IMAC may be able to purchase for you, good computer skills, a thorough understanding of Arresti, and a dedication to meeting a quota of sequences (based on committee size). Committee members also review submitted sequences. So yes, they're busy, but its very important. The Rules committee works on the two year rules cycle proposing revisions and clarifications to the Radio Control Scale Aerobatics rules. Proposals are prepared for submission to the IMAC BOD, and the membership, then finally to the Scale Aerobatics Control Board. If you are interested in helping either committee, please let your Regional Director know, and we'll submit your name for consideration. |
