Chief Aircraft was selling the 122" model for $1100 at Joe Nall. Is there now a manual? I would like to get one but not at full retail and not without a manual. Just for principal reasons.

There is no manual, but you can get most of your questions answered right here on the forums. There are manuals on Pilots website to other planes that would work with this one for some of the common stuff like mounting the firewall and the other common things that need to be done. The one part i would like to see posted by Pilot is putting together the flying wires and the wing structure. Other than that everything else is pretty straight forward if you have ever built an ARF before.

Ok got some more progress done on the Decathlon, Had my buddy Spooky Eng build a servo box for the throttle and choke servo as well as a mount for the receiver to attach to the smart fly EQ-10, this way the receiver is off the board and gets better antena coverage. If you need any thing custom done be sure to get ahold of him. Here is a link to his build thread on a Hemple Yak 55 he is building with lots of custom stuff.

I think I have a new home for my 85 and canister. I can't wait to hear about your maiden. What size prop will you use.
The Decathlon just looks sweet!

I got one question for already 122" Decathlon owners, Did you guys think it will hover with an evolution 58cc? This engine has more power than the 55cc DLE and is comparable in power with the new DA-60. I know that the ideal engine is an 85cc but I already had the 58cc

Hi guys, I am looking at getting one to make electric. I need it made without flaps though as the real one doesn't have any! For you guys that have one, does it have any dihedral? The wings look straight from the picture but the real one has a little. Yep I like everything to be nice and scale!

The wings are straight. I am sure you could talk to Tony and see if he can make you one without flaps.
