So you have some Baffles glued to the cowl and other hung off the motor?
Yep. Just depends on the cowl and engine as to how far I want to take it and design needs for the easiest access once installed.

This might be a stupid question but how are the 3d printed baffles held in place? I cannot enlarge the pictures enough to see. I'm assuming they are fastened to the cowl in some way?
Thanks very much for all of the information, I need to put baffles on a couple planes but I can't ever get them to look or act correctly.

Yes they are usually glued with Epoxy and fitted to the cowl inlets.

The Foam type can be done with epoxy or med/Thick CA.

Here is the two planes that I have. The quad was a custom built Dalton 300ml and the other is the 115” AJ laser which was done with dative foam.

Here are mine on the AJ 123" Laser with a DA 200.

The baffle TBrum made for my DA200M in a Kam Aero and baffles I made with Creatology 6mm foam for my 101" Skywing Laser. The one Trevor made from carbon fibre and painted looks much better than my foam version but hoping both provide good cooling
