I got mine and it really great been flying with the tips but have to take them off to go in the wing bag. The markings are paint gotta watch that tighting up the covering, I flys well but doeen't like to get too slow on landings and hates cross wind landings. Might be the wing tips don.t know will try it wit out the tips next flight and see. Best looking plane at our field here in central Texas.

To those interested - I make 3D printed baffles for the Pilot 100cc Edge 540. If you would like a set, please send me a PM or an email (neil.westdorp@verizon.net).

Servo Arms

I just got my 78" Edge and the servo arms were not in the box as shown in the plans. Were they suppose to be?

I have some "home made" air intakes installed in the cowl to cool down the engine of my 78" Hamilton Edge because I didn't want to cut the cowl. I haven't flown the plane yet but I hope they will be effectiv.

Not sure if this is good or bad, balanced and ready to go.
92" 540 V3
GP76, stock muffs

9.4 Kilo/20.7 Lbs

For balance they give you some carbon rods to insert in the fuse and wing roots at 142mm, I just balanced above that very neutral. Normal for my Edges to climb to vertical inverted for more fun

It's my second Pilot Hamilton scheme, first was a 30cc

The one behind it is a BBT Hamilton Scheme Carden 300, not a Pilot

Yes
Craft foam cones to the cyl heads
Left room to be able to open the openings another 1/8 inch around the edge for an effective 1/4" more .

Telemetry for temp as well

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I just got the 107" version with DLE 120 engine. Remote is Futaba 14 SG. I am planning to fly it using the dual receiver system.

I would really appreciate all of your gentlemen's experience and advice if any based on your experiences.

Happy flying....

I have a couple of questions:

1. The Fire wall has come pre installed on the model as shown in the attached pics whereas the other pilot rc models I have dont have the firewall installed in order to compensate for the engine installment.

Does all of the Hamilton 107" come like this or mine is an exception? How to adjust the engine fitting and length?

2. what does that 540 v3 119 mean? Its a 107" model then what does the 119 stand for ?

It looks like there is Side thrust required by the marks on the firewall, yes the best way is to use a mount with 2-2.5 degrees side thrust or offset sized stand offs to get the engine and back plate to match the spinner ring angle on the cowl.

How does the cowl look, is the spinner ring is angled?

The 119 is a bit odd there 40% model is 122", The 119 could be the build number? But id say it is just an error in the cad file, as my Prc models show the wingspan.
