I have those TDRC tanks in 3 planes now. Heavier than fortitude, but I like metal fittings & caps better.

I haven't tried the new Fortitude. After I got gas in about the 6th plane due to the old one's leaking I was done. New one's look really nice, I'll have to try one some day. They also don't have a 50oz that I see would work in this plane.

The V2 Fourtitude tanks are pretty great. I have had good luck with them and the best part is that there are no fittings on the top of the tank. Makes it easier when fitting them into tight fuselages or can tunnels. I'm hoping they have a 50+oz tank coming out.

This AJ is sweet! The 115" is on the top of the list for a 40% for me.

No, afraid not. I'll probably start with the gear and I can do that. You could add everything up if you want it quicker as I have a weight on every major part including wheel pants.

Work ran extra late, it's that time of year. Tomorrow is looking much better. Good news is Pilot head is shipped and fuel tank is shipped

This thing is going to be awesome! If life wasn't so busy right now I would have one on order like yesterday.

What, you can't fit a 12th project on your bench.....the heck

You'll get to fly it in June though, I promise.

I crunched all the posted numbers (approx 353 ounces) and it looks really good for a 115 inch airframe.

I have also cleaned them with compressed air or an electrical circuit spray cleaner and then apply a dry lube spray.

What you DON"T want to do is "oil" them. Any type of oil will attract dirt and actually make them squeak quickly and many times worse.
+1 on that. Dry silicone spray is what I use.
