well done cody makin finals thats great!!! nats really seems like a fun lay back competition its almost like a mini shootout because i believe they have freestyle, am i wrong?

I think it's bigger than the Shootout, and they do have a freestyle that anyone competing can enter. I think it's bigger because the Nats points count toward IMAC points - maybe I'm wrong there...

damn i wanna go next year now lol im getting my freestyle plane very soon

I think it is bigger because they will let anyone in and there is something about trying for the title of National Champion. The Shootout has awesome prizes and a sense of accomplishment just getting in.

true that. Do you know if it counts toward IMAC points? I assume it does, and what an advantage Nats pilots will have over everyone else with the way the new points system works, given that I assume each class had 20+ pilots in it, which is way more than the average IMAC contest yields.

I'm convinced the (young) hot pilots are purely trained off of GUITAR HERO. Definately does wonders for the coordination, and finger strength.... Not to mention you can really impress your friends at parties.

I can't wait for this! Came in runner up at Nats, I hope and pray to make it into the field at Tucson.

Countdown..... 2 weeks till pilots are anounced. I'm so stoked!!!! Is anybody out there?? Where is everyone? Nobodys been posting a thing about TAS 08 for a while. Kevin, where are you? What are the final TAS standings and who's PM'ed their intent to go??? This (hopefully) will be my 1st year at Tucson and i am SOOOOOOO fired up!! (maybe even a little uncharacteristicly impatient) I feel like a little kid goin' to the carnival. How about everyone else??? Is anyone as excited as I am????

Just sitting hear looking at the ends of my fingers where my nails used to be, another 2 weeks and I will be lucky if I have not chewed everything below the elbow off!

The only thing good at TAS is the boat race.
