East, west, north or south you are a really great bunch of guys and I would like to thank all who were out there tramping around with me looking for the plane.

That sucked you lost your plane Bruce. Let us know if you ever find the cause in the radio.

I found my trailer solution today at a local dealer
http://www.panpacificrvs.com/5447.html
The front and rear fold down cover comes off to make an awesome access opening for my planes. 2 40%'s would fit no problem. The 30' castle imac toy box is just not an option.

The rig looks really comfortable Russ. Sounds like it will work well. In order to make it pay though you will just have to do more contests....... Oh, yeah - it didn't come down gently!

More contests is the plan, buy trailer, go to IMAC events, repeat! I want to do Snohomish twice, Mollala, Surrey twice, Kamloops primer, My contest Vernon and perhaps Cour delane

Did the motor survive and any electronics? I asume the airframe did not survive at all

WOW thanks Shane! I am not going to get anything till after the new year. Let's do the comp's. Snohomish was unbelievable.
Everyone told me not to miss Mollala, lets do it! I came back after what could be called a tremendous loss more excited than ever!

For you NW zone guys, Shane O is one of the first hardcore IMAC guys in BC.
Camp Canada Will continue to grow as I hope Camp USA in Canada will also.
2008 will be a great year with at least 3 contests in BC and at least 2 in Alberta.

Don't know totally what I have left yet but it is rebuildable. Kev talked me through the rebuild on the fuze but I will probably build a new one as I am afraid that, in splicing it, I wouldn't get it straight. The wings, back end, motor and electronics are all good with little damage - the cans and headers are toast though. Will finish the new plane first. Will keep you posted.

Re: Snohomish Regionals

Man that sucks about your airplane Bruce.

My schedule for next year is Surrey, Mollala, Edmonton, Edmonton. As much as I consider myself in my dreams to be a hardcore IMAC guy wanting to one day go to the TAS... one contest a month is a major stretch for me (work, family, etc.) If it wasn't a 10 to 14hr drive to every contest it would be a different story too. Maybe if my son gets in to flying in the future that will change.

On the plus side it will be great if I get to go to 4 contests as the two this year were a blast! I also got a huge amount of stick time this season (burned gallon number 90 yesterday.) It will be nice to get to a contest with guys who actually know this stuff so I don't have to learn everything the long way. Reading helps but it's a lot faster to have someone helping.

Good luck with that Bruce. Russ, so now we have to get a Camp USA flag made? Can we just camp together and call it Camp IMAC friends?
