I was impressed seeing the Mamba fly, actually thought it was 100-120cc airplane! Very nice!

I was at the Nall for Quique's flight with the Mamba. I strongly believe this is the best flying bipe to date. The Mamba is an all out 3D machine. On the ground the Mamba is an awesome looking plane. I arrived just in time to watch this flight. I knew which line it was going to be flown but did not know what time. I was at the scale line and lucky me i spotted Quique pushing a jet back from the flight line and caught up with him amd he told me he was on his way to the 3D line to take it up. Thanx a million Quique for the handshake and the awesome demo of the Mambo!! I'm already putting away money for this Killer bipe.

Will the upper wings have servo bays for those who want to install 4 aileron servos? That opens up options for crab, flap settings, etc..

I just noticed that all the tail surfaces have no airfoil shape, but simple flat.
Was it done for price reduction?

That is how the full scale is.

Very good touch IMO... Something I dislike is when a manufacture puts on airfoiled tail feathers when the actual airplane has flat surfaces for tail feathers.

yes servo tray ready on upper wing. Also optional rudder servo pull/pull or tail push-pull...this allow different CG/engines/mufflers.....
Elevator I am flying with one servo...feels great and absolutely no blow back...it is precise and strong. There is also tray ready for dual elevator servo.....
I personally like the option I am flying...5 servos...it is light and low cost....but other options (more servos) are ready to use if user wants to.

my CARF has flat horiozntal stabs & elevators (also flat vertical stab & rudder).. I just cut holes & mounted the servos in the tail, added some ply support on the inside... they work great. Biplanes usually don't race around at the speed of light... with all the inherant drag, they are the most fun when they are just a little above stall speed with a lot of control surface throw.

I have a DA85 laying around the shop... do you think it would bolt up to the firewall without serious modification?
