Love this airplane and I know you do/did too!
Have fun at the Super Bowl!
Thanks!

There's a new one in the very near future. I'm going to run a can in the new one which will allow me to fly it at a field that has noise restrictions. That means more flight time on my all-time favorite plane so it's a blessing in disguise.

Ouch! Every pic of a nice plane that nice hurts everyone. Sorry to see that.

Not sure what the weather was like compared to the last time you made any needle adjustments, but going from warm to cold with no adjustments generally means more air and less fuel. We can go from an 80*F to a 55*F day here between Christmas and Valentine's Day so I always had to be careful that I didn't go lean on those off cold days.

Sorry to see that I have been through this once on my laser myself when my Tx shut off and the plane went down. Hope you get a new one or repair it soon.

I started off with the batteries behind the Wing tube, but ended up moving them forward next to the Fuel tank on either side. This made it fly a lot better.

Thanks everyone. I will definitely have a new one soon.

What a weekend. First the plane, then another Super Bowl loss to the Patriots. The team that played better today won so I can't complain about that either. It was quite an experience and one I know my son and I will never forget.

Which Cannister?

Searching for cannister didn't help me and searching can produces a bazillion results, so I'll just ask.

Which cannister works best with the DA70 and Laser?

Jtec DA70 Mufflers - For Sale

Since I am going to go with a can on this Laser, I have the Jtec mufflers that fit inside the cowl without cutting it for sale. I had them take a little corner off of the left one. See Post 813 for a pic.

New they are $135. I'll sell them for $95 shipped.

Please PM me if interested.

SOLD

While the snow and temperatures aren't allowing any flying all I could do at the moment is watch videos of the laser from last season and fantasize about flying my laser again. Here is one of my first flights with the laser. It just keeps getting better

Picked up the new laser from EF at Perry on Friday. Can't wait to get it built.

One question....for those running a cannister, is the rudder servo still in the tail or do you have to do a pull-pull?

Thanks!
