any and all tips or build pics will be appreciated
I didn't take any photos during the build as it was a 12hrs build. It's super simple since the geometry work with dual/triple aileron for wings , servo turnbuckle length, etc are not needed with the dual ganged servo trays (just install them outside - and them screw them into the airframe).

Since everything is prehinged - nothing needs any epoxying/etc.

I tapped these servo arms for M3 and used M3 screws for the carbon arms that come with the kit. I have not permanently glued them. I have not seen any slop after 45 flights so far.

I do not know the measurements of the stock carbon arms - the holes are pre-drilled - so no work on the part of the pilot (seems like 1" for IMAC and 2" for 3D - pick which ever you want to use.)

I used a GP178. I do not know the standoff lengths - did not write them down.

What CARF dealers are everyone ordering from? I’m on the east coast. Just curious. Thanks.

....edit. I got a PM from a dealer. Info still appreciated. The 3M 330LX looks delicious.

Usually Ray in CA.
The LX330 and Mephisto were ordered directly with CARF at Joe Nall 2019.

Just put an order in for my 330 LX after speaking with Andreas at the shootout and checking out Spencer's he flew in invitational last weekend. The engineering is amazing and looking forward to putting this one together. Looking at the ZDZ 195 Competition for power with MTW Cans - any suggestions for power for those that have one? Spencer was using a DA 200 on stock muff's... Mine will be in Yellow / Blue Gary Ward scheme just like the one they used to do on the CARF MX2 - Due Late Dec / Jan..

Nice scheme. Yellow/blue is my favorite combination.

I have mine on a GP178 with stock mufflers.
Another 2 at our field - a ZDZ 180 on cans and a Kingtech Turbo Prop which should maiden soon.

The ZDZ 195 is what Andreas has on the prototype (1-1.5lbs heavier than the production model.) flown worldwide as well as Joe Nall 2019.
