Any kit manufactures making new 3d planes

I have been getting an itch to build a kit plane, its been a long time since I've done so. I am not 100% sure what size but I am looking for something 50cc and above. I would like to build a 3D plane and looking for a manufacture that still produces modern light weight kit.

Unfortunately I don't think so, especially in the 50cc size. But maybe someone else knows of something. There are a few plans that can be had out there, but most of them are older designs. However if you are looking to build something bigger, there's always

I am building one and was able to get it glued together in a month. Not a lot of directions but not really needed either plus there are great threads on the interweb. Everything goes together within 0.010 and the wood is well selected.

I'm not stuck on 50cc, could be larger. There is Carden for example but that is more of an IMAC plane.

Jtec Radiowave makes a 35% Extra 260 / Dalton. Granted, not a hardcore 3D plane but still an option in a very narrow market.

Fibertech are awesome. I've flown the red bull one shown in his picture. Very light. He's got 2 sizes I believe

I always wanted to build a kit but when compared to some of the most popular ARF in the market and their design, material use, built quality and costs, no kits out there can compare....

Is true, I do miss the days of kits. My first giant scale plane was the Aeroworks Edge Kit. In the hands of a competent builder a well designed kit like the Fibertech can definitely come out ahead of any ARF. Just too bad the market is not there, I would pay the premium. Also wishing for a 50cc size.

Here is a nice 60 cc kit that I've been considering.

so far it seems like the fiber tech kits are the only contender. I am not interested in a bipe and the others are outside the US.

Here at Fibertech there are a few more kits in the works. I donít have an ETA as we want to make sure things are 100% before we release anything.

Here are just a couple images:

Now that is super awesome ! Mind letting us know of the size(s) ?
Kind of sad to see a departure from the stick built fuselage, but I am sure it will be awesome. Will be watching closely.
