New guy! Can you help me identify these two?!

Hello! I haven't flown since probably 2013! I was looking at the Marketplace and saw this Extra 230 and scooped it up for $120. The nice lady said she'd give me the second one for free as it had been wrecked! I am curious to know which each model manufacturer is so I can A. Find replacement parts for the Extra 330 and B. Find engine recommendations for the E230! I know this is not much to go off of, but if you could possibly help me figure out which manufacturer made them, that would be a tremendous help! Looking forward to flying again!!

Extra 330

For the 330, the wing half was measured. Since the other side was wrecked, I can't attach both halves to get a true measurement of the wing span. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks! They get posted at different times because I had to wait on moderators to approve. As far as the Lanier, I don't see specs that seem to match that wingspan that I can 'roughly' calculate. The 1/3 scale seems to be 102" which isn't close - and the 1/4 scale is 72". This one - roughly - is going to be in the 90s.

One wing piece is 41.5" wide.

So 41.5" x 2 = 83" and then the fuselage is 9.5" wide at the tube, which would put a rough wingspan 92.5" = which misses the mark on Laniers 1/3 and 1/4 models.....

Additionally - hopefully times haven't changed in 7 years, but it appears they have. Is there companies that still make wing kits for these models?

it's possible it is a 30% Carden 300S, which has a 89 in ws. You have to subtract that little bit which goes into the wing pockets on the fuse.

My guess was Ace on the 230 but no clue on the other one. Not the Lanier kit for sure as they are built different than the photos.

First is an Ace Extra 230 and the second is a Carden Extra 300S. I had both with G62's in the early 90's.

Thank you everyone! Would anyone know where to get a set of plans for the 30% Carden 300? I found a cowl, but I need to find out how to repair the wings!
