Yes I did!! And I'm VERY proud to have been part ofthe first one there!!! As I said before, IMAC isn't for me. I had fun while doing that. But now, I don't have the time to dedicate to practice. I'm currently making the time to practice for XFC. Which, is going to be off the wall, jaws on the floor, full throttle, and 5 gallons of smoke oil burned in that weekend!!!!

Does this mean I'm going to stop ribbing you guys??? NOPE!!!!! We all have the same hobby!! And we all enjoy it!! NUF SED!!!

Not going to make it this time Kurt, I will hopefully be maidening my new rig this weekend.

Last year was my first time there and I had a blast.

Unfortunately I will be out of town on Business way out on the West Coast so will not be able to make it. Probably a no-go for Jackson as well as trip will extend to that weekend.

Field will be mowed in the morning and will be available after 12 noon on Friday.

Unfortunately my batteries arent in yet. Apparently Fromeco is swamped and has a 1-2 week lead time on orders. Fortunately though I picked this up yesterday:

With this sucker on my ignition, I'm all ready to go! Think I should run duracell or energizer? I think energizers are on sale in a 28 pack at walmart. Should last me all season!

Stephen - I have a 4.8 Ni-Mha pack that I just bought in April for my Heli. I will bring it for you to use this weekend. It has a full charge on it.

Chris, I just received my Model Aviation Magazine. When are you going to start running the 100 meters for the Olympic team?

With over 40 pilots registered for the Columbus IMAC Challenge we are going to need to keep the flightline moving VERY quickly. You will be expected to be in the air before the previous pilot lands. We will also be trying to have very quick turnarounds when switching judges for a new class to fly. So if you are asked to judge, be ready to get in the judges chair when the last pilot lands from the previous class. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the field on Friday for some practice - the weather is looking good!!!
