Can you relocate your throttle servo so you can use a regular size servo.. i would not recommend a mini servo with the vibration of gas.. or is it nitro? I use the sullivan plastic tubing for throttle sumtimes when i run into a situation like you have.. just a thought

I like Savox, but Hitec has much better CS.

I cant speak for everyone but my experience with savox CS was really good. I had a 2290sg start acting funny...it was a new unit just installed in a new plane...anyway, I called savox usa and explained my situation and without hesitation they offered to cross ship a replacement servo. they sent me an email, I responded with my proof of purchase and a tracking number for the faulty servo and by the end of the day I had a tracking number for the replacement servo. not too shabby IMHO.

SAme here. I get mine from Bemeson here on Giants and he has always taken care of me. But my impression was they typically aren't worked on. Maybe I'm incorrect in this assumption.

I contacted savoxUSA. They didn't work on it they sent a replacement...so I guess it is a throw away item for them but it wasn't for me.

This will be on a 50cc gasser. I have seen others using this particular servo for a throttle without issue. Other than the fact that its slightly smaller, I dont understand the problem as it is a metal gear 2bb HV servo. I could relocate it, but Id really rather keep it where it is. Its about the best spot as far as geometry goes.
