Guys, I just wanted to share an experience I had with Lenny at Shindin this week.

Last year I bought a used ESM BF 109 with Shindin retracts. I was flying on Monday, and when I lowered the gear the wheel and lower strut came crashing to the ground. Had to belly the plane in, which is no big deal on the 2,000 foot grass runway I was flying off of. I should’ve performed a more thorough pre-flight, but hey, it happens.

I found the wheel and lower strut, but the spring and bolt that hold everything in the upper strut were gone. I sent Lenny an email, he replied and sent replacement parts the next day free of charge! I would’ve happily paid for this, but he was having none of it. I received the parts today, and the 109 is back in business! In my experience this level of support is not too common in the hobby, as many businesses are quite smal and this really is a niche market.

I just wanted to be sure I gave Lenny props for making a great product and standing behind it!
