Extra 260 100 cc Build Thread on RCG -Electric

Hi,

I'm completing a build thread on RCG an electric 100cc :
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1304010

While I'm here:

1, OMP support you guys aren't responding to emails or phones, whats going on?
2, The spinner I got looks like it belongs to the YAK? The extra has a blue one correct?

Edit, seems they are different if bought from EG directly! They are an awesome flying plane.

Alkaline, I don't recall seeing any emails or calls from you? Not sure why the disconnect. For tech support please contact me at mike@ohiomodelplanes.com. Also the included spinner with the 85-100cc Extra and Yak are black aluminum and in line with spinners from MPI. I've used MPI and Tru-turn for years. Thought maybe the spinner felt heavy as well but compared to MPI it was vitually the same. I scuffed mine up and painted it red to match my Yak and have been using it on the plane for 2 years now.

The tail wheel assembly is pretty much identical for all the OMP/EG aircraft models. Very nice carbon fiber assembly in my opinion and simple and maintenance free. I personally love the single wire setup! No steering arm with stupid springs that never stay aligned!

Mike, the tail wheel is fine structurally, however, the manual has it positioned pretty far back,I would think the pivot should be inlined with the rudder hinge?

Typically all tail wheels on draggers are positioned well behind the rudder pivot point. Check out pictures of full scall 300s for example. In addition to better weight on the steering wheel, it keeps the rudder from dragging on the ground.
