Could you give some more details on vac bagging the wing?

What type of vac pump and some of the setup would be great.

It don't look like I got a lot done today, but I worked my tail off on the tail.

Lots of sanding today. I glued the vertical fin in place and fit the rudder. I took my time and got the hinge line nice and straight.

Let me know when you get some time so we can get together and cut your kit. We sheeted the vertical fin today, try to get the stabs done tomorrow and hopefully start sheeting the wings. Jerry's flying along on the build I may have to slip him some parts so we can catch him.

By the way Jerry, you know that oops you did. I did the same on the 2.7 CS. Guess trying to do many things at once

The Vacuum pump is a kit I picked up from ACP.

The procedure I use is not too hard. I spread the glue on the skins and place it on the foam core. I put the core in the shucks and I tape it together so it's easy to slide in the bag without falling apart. Just seal the ends with the clips that come with the vacuum kit and plug it in. As the air is pulled out of the bag I put a little weight on top of the shucks just so the foam is held flat to the table. The vacuum puts just enough pressure on the shucks to hold the skins firmly to the foam while the glue dries.

So its a pivot point ,I tink I gets it

Dr. Evil I think what he is saying is the top hole he makes has to be perpendicular with the bottom hole he makes, so that means when you do it you will have to close one eye.
