Bill....kudos for your extensive and well thought out expansion on what judging really is! Anyone desiring to be a judge.....or a better judge should read it!!!!

Very well said Bill! I would like to add just one more thing. When you are judging a class it is imperative that you judge with CONSISTENCY through the entire round! If each judge is consistent from pilot 1 thru the last pilot, the pilot that is flying the best (that day, or that round, or that contest) will in fact come out on top. You should not even consider whether you know the pilot or not, judge what you see!
