Pre Comp-Arf fiberclassic, and current favorite. Yes, thats Hemple's first 40% Cub in the background at the Superstition IMAC back in 2009 if memory serves......

Kudos goes to Joe Balabon. He has shot all the jets at our field for the last few years. The hard part was fly straight at him at 200mph.

I have a few.

My old 260 which is still out there flying with another owner. It must have a stupid number of hard miles on it now but still seems to be going strong.

A couple of my original 330SC which started it's life in the US and now is being flown by a mate of mine in the UK.

My 330SC with DA200 which is a bit beaten up after an argument with the crank.

And finally one of my pinky Ultra Flash which is brilliant on a P180RX

Here are few pictures of previous CARF planes... some have been sold, some have bitten the dust... I hope to build more some time soon.


3M Extra 330SC with a DA200... recently sold
2.3M Edge 540 with DA85, custom paint job from Oversprayer... died way too soon in a dead stick.
2.9M MX-2 Gary Ward Scheme.. DA170, probably one of my favorite and best flying planes... sold.
3M Yak, JR Scheme with 3W 170... locked up a servo on the 5th flight.
2.1M Yak with a DA50... probably the worst flying CARF I've owned, but still a good flying 50cc plane.
2.7M Pitts... I've been wanting this plane for about 5 years.
2.9M MX-2... just had to get another one! 3W 157CS Twin Spark.

Thx Ant, its not done, but I wanted to fly it at Nall this year, so I sorta slammed it together. This winter the wings will have green as well.... those that have never painted will say "wow great paint job" and a painter will comment on the sanding/buffing A buddy and I are actually resto'g 4 of these 2.6 Extras, all are in various stages of completion, but its fun.

This is #2, but I dont have any pics of it RTF with cowl...it went to to Nall 13 as well
