Hello all
Trying to help a friend here. He bought a older plane that came with a JC EVO 120cc. It’s missing the prop washer. I tried the one from my dle 120 but it’s not even close to the one he needs. It needs to be bigger in diameter and bolt pattern is different. Does anyone here knows the washer that would work on this outdated JC EVO?
Thank you all

I owned a JC120, the bolt pattern is the same as DLE120 and DA120. I still have a spare prop hub with magnet for that engine and spare prop washer.

Hi Joe.
Appreciate a lot your reply. BUT its not the same as the DLE120. And DLE120 its not the same as DA120. Washer from my DLE engine wasn't even close to fit. I read somewhere that what seems to be the V1 of the JC uses the prop hub pattern as the DA150 so I don't really know which washer to buy. If you have a spare one that you want o sell, please let me know. Other than that, what can you tell me about the engine's performance?
Thank you a bunch,
Eddy

Uh, DLE 120 is same as DA 120. Also the same as DLE 111 and 85. Not the same as the DLE 170. If you have a prop jig for a 150 you can try that.

Ok to drill slightly larger holes?

I need to drill a prop for a 3W 100 (5 mm bolts).

The holes in the prop washer I was planning to use a jig are slightly bigger (6 mm). If I use a 5 mm drill bit, I am afraid I may not center it perfectly, causing stresses on the bolts.
Is it ok to use a 6 mm drill bit?
My understanding is that what keeps the prop from slipping is the clamping force, not the prop leaning against the bolts...

Why not use the proper jig?
