Not yet. I had to go back to work and that slows down my build time.

I do have all of the wood parts glued together and just need to shape and sand leading and trailing edges. I have colors picked out and Monocote on order. I also have matching Dupont Nason paint for the cowl.

What a great night sleep! Let me share....
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Spent all day yesterday at J’Tech Radiowave, I left home around 6:30AM and arrived about 9:30. I took the scenic route.
As I popped the door on the shop the smoke was billowing from around Al's work station. Al, Welding away on the quality exhaust products that they manufacture in house! Kevin was working on the schedule board and Jerry and the guy's were doing what they do! Cutting, grinding, shaping and stacking up the work for Al to assemble (weld). The laser was already hard at work cutting out the 1/4" parts of my New 2013 IMAC Machine. Talk about excited!
Al stopped his work and we started setting up the CNC Foam cutter to cut the wings and horizontal stabs. They musta started early because they already had the turtle deck and vertical stabs cut. I would have never thought it takes this much time and effort to get a kit ready for shipping. Al and Kevin have really stepped up on this one. The fuselage has interlocking parts and looks to easily assemble in less than a day. The foam cutter sure makes a nice smooth surface for laminating the skins.
Now to order the material to complete my kit, Skins, sticks of balsa and basswood.
Al and Kevin, Thank you so much for your help in getting me back in the air. This is going to be a fun build of a great product.
Get on your mark, Get set, Go!

Oh! Howard, your kit is ready! Man, you are you going to be impressed!
Kent

Howard stopped by and picked up his kit today, Roger was with him, he was drooling out the side of his mouth waiting to get started on it for Howard. I suspect he probably already has the fuse framed up!! LOL

Hondo- I do plan on coming up for a contest with the new plane, just don't know when.

2.4- yep, met Dr. Evil, even got to fly the Pitts. I had fun with it.

Al - I stopped by Rogers’s house to check on the kit. He is ready to go, I'm not sure if I’m going to get to help much, Roger sounds like he is going to hog the glue.

I'm holding out on posting any pictures. The past week I have spent sanding and fitting things like hinges; the plane is built, it's just at the "prepping for covering" stage. I shot a coat of primer on the cowl and did a little wet sanding.
