Nope. Think of it this way - anytime you see the elevator fully deflected (or nearly so) one way or another, there's very little G on the airplane. Compared to the stuff you mention, you'd think a basic push to vertical from level flight was "brutal". High speed and high G. Mithrandir's post above pretty well sums it up.
