The IMAC event at LVRCS looks like it will be held July 14-15th this year.

Awsome Blair!!! Looks like we are building a good schedule for the Northeast Region this year. I think I am going to create a new thread with the proposed/confirmed contests as well here in the NE Section. And dont forget that we have our our own NE event calendar here that we can post our events in as well. Im really hoping that this area of the Giants can become the come to place for all guys in the NE region to communicate/talk about anything going on in the region.

How do you guys feel about having unknowns in basic that would be judged but would not count. This can help to get basic pilots ready for sportsman. I might try it at the milford contest.

I dont see the harm in trying that. Maybe not at the first couple contests of the year where alot of new guys tend to come in, but i think its good to throw a challenge in there now and again for the basic guys. I used to like the last contest of the season (or abouts) where Basic had to fly their sequence in reverse as an unknown.

Awsome news fellas!!!!!!!!!!!! Tack another new contest onto the Northeast schedule this year! I just got approved to hold yet another contest this time at my Woodstock, CT, flying club. Date is still to be determined. Just wanted to share the good news!!! We are building a great calendar this year!!!!

Little off topic but don't forget the indoor funfly is coming up soon. See link for more info. Who all from the NE is planning on coming? I know John and Rick plan to be there. There will be a couple folks there with indoor sequence planes.

John, were you aware that your June contest is on Father's Day weekend?

No, I didnt realize that. i hope its not a big deal, hopefully it doesnt pose a problem, I dont have much of an option to change it.

No problem, unfortunately I won't be able to make it. My dad is getting up there in age so I try to visit with him on fathers day. Plus my daughter has something going on as well.

I was really looking forward to it. Hopefully the other CT contest will fit my schedule.

Shoot! Sorry to hear that Mark! Wish you could make it! I had posted a couple pictures of the Dalton in another thread somewhere... where another guys posted some pics of his. I have the fuse almost completed. Should be ready ready for covering in the next couple weeks if all goes to plan. Ill be sure to post some pics in the Northeast section. Ill try to take some tommorow... im trying to designate it a build day.

I may have to trek north for a couple of events this year.

the paxaero imac contest has been confirmed for april 14 and 15 and the field will be open for flying on the 13. thanks john morisi
