Jumping out of my sneakers was completely involuntary! I think I made 5 steps to get to my truck 20 feet away afterward!

I wish I had a video of Jim C. when the lightning bolt blasted about 20 yards from him. He practically jumped out of his sneakers.....no kidding.

Hope everyone got home safe.

Yep, saw that too. Never saw a grown man run so fast. Might want to try out for the Olympics.

I caught up to Mark and we had veal for dinner dang tasty too

Do tell, I'm always interested in Trent's "fetishs" they are always good for a laugh

John,

Excellent contest and it shows we can run good contests in the NE, basically everyone was on their game and kept the flightline moving. Folks, we had unbelievable weather for this time of the year, 55 at night and 75 during the day. Sat had no humidity to speak of and Sun was almost as good with a touch more humidity but a bit more wind than Sat.. We were even treated to a full scale Extra 300 of in the distance doing thier version of sportsman and followed by a very nice low pass down the runway.

My hats off as well to everyone. It was nice seeing everyone again and meeting some really great people.

Isabel, like I said to you after we were done, the minute I saw you do your first sequence I mentioned to somone (I think it was Jim C. or even Neil) that we were in trouble and you proved me correct. It was really nice meeting the both of you.

Re: Woodstock IMAC Challenge 2008!

Good point on the weather Bill. We couldnt have asked for better weather. It really held out for us and made it a great weekend for everyone! Thats one of the reasons I shoot for this time of the year for a contest in New England, the chances for great weather are really high. Now, if I can figure out how to get the rest of the CT IMAC crew to actually show up to a CT IMAC contest, we could really have a 40+ pilot turnout! That was the only downer from the weekend. All of you traveled multiple hours to get there, and only two of my CT IMAC "buddies" drove the less than an hour commute! Thanks Jim and Dave!!! No matter though, all of you that made the drive made it well worth it, that contest was for you guys, everyone that attended!!!

I figure since Trent flew really well this weekend, and kicked but with a borrowed airplane (now nicknamed the village bicycle, sister of Casper, the other "everyone has had a turn airplane"), so we need to razz him just to knock him down a few notches!!!

I can tell you that Isabel (from Montreal) kicked major booty in Sportsman, we knew we were in trouble when we saw her first sequence, you really don't want to know where I ended up

I just got your voicemail, phone died early this morning and I just got it charged enough for it to tell me you called. I'll call ya back tomorrow
