Alternative to canopy screws

Anyone have alternatives to using canopy screws? I have a 80" P 47 with 4 canopy screws to hold the canopy on. I cant put a spring load latch as there is no room to get to on the hatch or fuselage to install one. If anyone has any out of the box ideas let me know.

Yeah...what he said.... especially on a warbird where your not likely to sling the canopy off doing 3d ....haha
